Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 01-10-2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of arabiantradeportal.com (the “Portal”), operated by F B Trading, Commercial Registration No. [CR Number], Doha, State of Qatar (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, listing products, posting a buying request or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Portal is
Arabian Trade Portal is an online business-to-business (B2B) directory and marketplace platform. It lets suppliers, manufacturers and wholesalers (“Vendors”) present their companies and products, and lets business buyers (“Buyers”) find Vendors, send enquiries and post buying requests. We only provide the platform. We do not sell, buy, stock, deliver or pay for any goods or services, and we are not a party to any agreement, order or payment between Buyers and Vendors. Approving an account or listing is not an endorsement or guarantee of any user, product or quotation.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter binding contracts, and you must use the Portal for business purposes.
- You must give accurate, complete and current information, including company details, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for your login details and for all activity under your account. Tell us at [Contact Email] straight away if you suspect unauthorised use.
- You may sign in with Google. If you do, Google’s own terms also apply to that sign-in.
- One person or company must not open multiple accounts to get around limits, approval or suspension.
3. Vendors
- Approval. Every Vendor application is reviewed. We may approve, reject or ask for documents (such as a Commercial Registration, trade licence or tax details) at our discretion.
- Founding membership. The first 100 approved Vendors may list free of charge for the period we announce. After that, Vendor access requires an annual subscription (see section 5). We will give existing Vendors at least 30 days’ notice before any fee starts to apply to them.
- Listings. Vendors must describe products and services accurately, including specifications, prices, minimum order quantities, lead times, certifications and origin. New or changed listings may be reviewed before they go live.
- Legal compliance. Vendors are solely responsible for their products, pricing, taxes, licences, import and export rules, product safety, warranties and after-sales service.
- Quotations. A quotation a Vendor sends through the Portal is an offer from that Vendor. The Vendor must honour it on the stated terms and for its stated validity.
4. Buyers and buying requests
- Buyers may browse listings, send enquiries to Vendors and post buying requests (RFQs). Some Buyer features may require an annual subscription (see section 5).
- Every buying request is reviewed before it is shown to Vendors. We may edit, reject or remove any request, for example if it is incomplete, spam or not a genuine business need.
- An approved request is shared with Vendors in the matching sector. Your contact details are not shown on the request board; Vendors reply with a quotation that is emailed to you.
- A buying request is an invitation to quote, not a binding order. A contract forms only when you and a Vendor agree its terms.
- Buyers should check the Vendor, the goods and the terms before paying or committing.
5. Subscriptions and fees
- Our only charge is an annual subscription for access to the Portal: [Vendor Annual Fee] for Vendors and [Buyer Annual Fee] for Buyers, as shown on our pricing page. We charge no commission on trade between users.
- Fees are paid in advance through our payment providers, such as PayPal or Google Pay. We do not store full card details.
- A subscription runs for 12 months from the date of payment and [renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date].
- Fees are non-refundable once a subscription period has started, except where the law of Qatar requires a refund.
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any fee change. A new fee applies from your next renewal.
- All trade between Buyers and Vendors, including prices, payment, delivery, inspection, returns, warranties and taxes, is agreed and settled directly between them, outside the Portal. We are not responsible for any payment, non-payment, delivery, quality issue or dispute arising from it.
6. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- list or request goods that are illegal in Qatar or the destination country, counterfeit, stolen, hazardous without the proper licences, or otherwise prohibited;
- post false, misleading or spam content, fake quotations or fake reviews;
- use another person’s or company’s identity, trademarks or content without permission;
- scrape, copy or harvest data, or try to bypass security, reCAPTCHA, rate limits or approval;
- upload malware or anything that could damage the Portal or other users;
- contact users for purposes unrelated to genuine trade on the Portal.
7. Content and intellectual property
- The Portal’s name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors.
- You keep ownership of the content you upload, such as product photos and descriptions. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and promote that content on the Portal and our marketing channels while it is listed.
- You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.
8. Disputes between users
Trade disputes are between the Buyer and the Vendor. We may, but are not obliged to, help both sides reach a solution. We may suspend accounts involved in repeated or serious complaints while we look into them.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, remove content or cancel a request at any time if we reasonably believe these Terms or the law have been broken, or to protect users or the Portal. You may close your account at any time by writing to [Contact Email]. Fees already paid are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise or we close your account without cause.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Portal is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or the accuracy of listings, quotations or user content.
- To the extent allowed by the law of Qatar, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data, or for the acts, products or payments of Buyers and Vendors.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your listings or requests, or your dealings with other users.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify registered users by email. Continuing to use the Portal after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. The courts of Doha, Qatar have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
