This Privacy Policy explains how F B Trading (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data on arabiantradeportal.com (the “Portal”). We process personal data in line with Qatar’s Law No. 13 of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data Privacy.
1. Data we collect

2. How we use your data
- To create and manage accounts and review Vendor applications and buying requests.
- To share approved buying requests with Vendors in the matching sector, and to email quotations to Buyers.
- To process subscription payments and send account and billing emails.
- To keep the Portal secure: spam and bot prevention, fraud detection and blocking of attacks.
- To answer support questions and improve the Portal.
- To send updates about the Portal. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
We rely on your consent, on performing our contract with you, on legal obligations, and on our legitimate interest in running a safe marketplace.
3. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed:
- Between users: a Vendor’s quotation, name and contact details reach the Buyer. A Buyer’s contact details are not shown on the buying-request board; Buyers choose whether to reply to a Vendor.
- Service providers: web hosting and email delivery (Hostinger), Google (Sign in with Google and reCAPTCHA spam protection), payment providers such as PayPal or Stripe for subscription payments, and our website security service (Wordfence).
- Authorities: when the law of Qatar requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Portal.
Some providers may process data outside Qatar. Where they do, we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies for login, checkout and security, and performance cookies for page caching. Google reCAPTCHA and Google sign-in set their own cookies when you use them. You can block cookies in your browser, but login and subscription checkout may not work.
5. How long we keep data
- Account data: while your account is active, and up to [24] months after you close it.
- Buying requests and quotations: up to [24] months after the request expires, for records and dispute handling.
- Subscription invoices and payment records: as long as Qatari tax and commercial law requires.
- Security logs: up to [90] days.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to object to certain processing. Email [Contact Email]. We will reply within 30 days, and we may need to verify your identity first.
7. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, a web application firewall, login attempt limits, spam protection, access controls and regular backups. No online service is fully secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
8. Children
The Portal is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any update on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify registered users by email.
